Dave Talarico
President
David Talarico brings over two decades of technology experience to his role as President of Mivation. His passion lies in discovering new and better ways to utilize technology to help clients streamline their work and increase efficiency. When he's not focused on innovation and product development, Dave enjoys fly fishing and playing golf, while treasuring time spent with his grandchildren.
Jerome Carlile
SVP of Client Success | Co-Founder
Jerome is the co-founder of Mivation and is intimately involved in assisting in the design of new functionality and future product enhancements based upon the feedback of our clients. He has a passion for organization, which to all his friends comes as no surprise. Jerome was born in Germany and later moved to Colorado. He is a proud University of Arizona Alumni. Jerome, his wife and 2 children love Arizona where it is warm all year round, but they can still visit the snow in Northern Arizona within a few short hours.
Kelly Birr
Chief Technology & Privacy Officer
Kelly Birr has spent over 25 years in Software Technology and InsureTech. Technology has been a passion for Kelly since he was a boy. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.
Katie Vienhage
Finance Manager
Katie has over 15-years of executive-level HR and Finance experience with a demonstrated history in the information technology and services industries. Katie graduated from Eastern Washington University, quadruple majoring in; HR, Finance, Management and Marketing, with a minor in Economics. Additionally, she has earned SHRM-CP and PHR certifications. Away from the office, you can find Katie on the golf course, enjoying nature, enjoying a fine wine with friends, or catching up on Bravo TV.
Raphael Swatzell
VP Operations
Meet Raphael Swatzell, a motivated individual who has a passion for creative solution development. As the Vice President of Operations, he is dedicated to innovative planning to produce stable results. Coming from a background of end-user support and team management, Raphael has worked with numerous businesses, staff members, and consumers to develop strategies that foster collaborative process-building. He is passionate about helping others reach their goals and enjoys the opportunity to facilitate success. Currently residing in the inland Northwest, Roffa loves exploring nature’s majesty with his family and indulging in his favorite hobbies. Whether it’s gardening, reading, or listening to Andy Cohen, he finds joy in activities that bring him new perspectives.
Nikolas Rich
Product Manager
Nikolas is the Racing Snail Product Manager for Mivation. He ensures that the Racing Snail application has an up-to-date feature roadmap and makes sure that new features and the application itself are efficient and are meeting customer expectations. Nikolas enjoys watching/going to college basketball and football games and enjoys kayaking with his wife and dog.
Paul Rouse
Director of Customer Success
Paul’s experience as an FSR and knowledge of the insurance industry made him a perfect fit for Mivation where he started in Customer Support, but quickly became an Account Manager and sales rep before he took a critical role in the Client Success group. Currently, he works closely with Jerome in ensuring that our products meet the needs of our ever-growing client base. Paul enjoys the outdoors, especially in the winter. If he’s not out in the woods with his sons in the Inland Northwest, you are likely to find him in deep powder on a high mountain strapped to a snowboard or skis. In the summer, Paul enjoys spending time with his family in Alaska where he touts his family’s smoked salmon recipe and process as world class.
Haley Gibler
Captive Agent Sales Manager
Haley manages Mivation’s captive agency sales team. She also coordinates our strategic partnership program and is instrumental in creating and managing the valuable relationships we have with our partner companies. With her strong background in customer service, she consistently strives to exceed expectations by understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions. Haley’s proactive approach to sales and her genuine commitment to building lasting relationships make her an asset to her team and clients alike. Haley resides in Washington state where she enjoys cooking, gardening, and just enjoying the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her husband.
Seth Preus
Founder/Advisor
Seth is the founder of Mivation. He is truly passionate about learning, and then sharing, as much as he can about the nature of motivation and how it impacts effective commission strategies. Seth currently serves as a key strategic partner to Mivation through Partly Cloudy LLC, a consulting and motivational speaking company he founded in 2021. He resides in Arizona where he enjoys spending time with his wife, teasing his three daughters, and feeding “his” hummingbirds. As often as possible, he escapes to his refuge on the beautiful Emerald Coast of Nicaragua.
